Tomlinson Avionics of Texas Inc. has been a family owned and operated avionics shop since 1996. Opened as a two-man shop in the corner of a hangar in Denton, Texas. We have steadily grown over the years, we now have three bench technicians, six installation technicians, two A&P/IA and office personnel. In July of 1999 we moved to Gainesville, TX where we now own a 14,000 square foot hangar. We have worked on everything from Super Cubs to corporate jets. We have the space to house it all and keep the pilots comfortable while work is being performed on their plane. We have a first class Pilot's Lounge with a beautiful view of the Gainesville Municipal Airport. Our employees have a broad span of knowledge and over 60 years of combined avionics experience. We have a proven record of excellence, and are one of the Top Dealers for such industry leaders as Garmin, PS Engineering, Bendix-King, S-Tec, Century Flight Systems, Avidyne, Aspen Avionics and many more. We sell new and used avionics equipment and have a large stock on hand. We carry all of the major manufacturers and are one of the top Garmin dealers in the nation.
Our experience ranges from transponders to global positioning systems and from autopilots to weather avoidance equipment. We can even machine custom instrument panels on-site.

Bill Morrow, President
Bill got started in the business in 1969 working with basic and advanced electronics. Bill attended Southern State University in Magnolia, Arkansas where he earned his bachelors degree. From college Bill went to Tomlinson Avionics in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where he worked from 1976 to 1990. Bill worked his way from a bench technician, to parts manager, to installation manager, to General Manager. In 1990, Bill took a job with an aircraft manufacturing company where he was an Avionics Engineer for three years. From 1993 to 1995, Bill worked for another avionics shop in Texas as the Avionics Manager. In 1995, Bill and his son began the planning and building of Tomlinson Avionics of Texas in Denton, Texas. They started in the corner of a large hangar and had to build the offices themselves. In July of 1999, Bill Morrow decided to move his growing company to Gainesville, where he has built a brand new hangar. Bill has attended numerous factory schools learning the latest techniques for installing and working on specific equipment. He has been a member of the Aircraft Electronics Association since 1976 and has held an FAA Repairman's Certificate since 1977.
 Shane Morrow, Parts Manager
As Bill Morrow's son, Shane Morrow has been around the Avionics business facility all of his life. Shane began doing IFR certifications at the age of 14 at the Tomlinson Avionics in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. After graduating from high school, Shane went to work for an aircraft manufacturing company. There he worked on fuel lines, landing gear, stripping and in the paint shops. When the family moved to Texas, Shane worked for a FBO/avionics shop. In 1995 Shane and Bill came to Denton and began building Tomlinson Avionics of Texas. Except for a short trip to set up Tomlinson Avionics of Mississippi, he has been here ever since. He was responsible for getting all of the FAA certificates required to open the shop and was the acting General Manager. Shane has held an FAA Repairman's Certificate at Tomlinson since 1997.
 James Damron, A&P/IA
James began working in aircraft maintenance over eight years ago. He has held an A & P certification for eight years and an IA for five years. James has extensive experience with the Cessna 400 series, Beechcraft Barrons and Beechcraft Bonanzas. James was the Director of Maintenance at a local "135" operation for over two years handling all the maintenance needs for a fleet of aircraft.
Chris Fellegy, Installation Manager
Chris has been in the avionics business since 1998. Chris attend college in Alexandria, Minnesota, where he earned his degree in avionics. In 2000, Chris joins the team at Tomlinson Avionics of Texas. Chris has worked his way up to installation manger through his great knowledge of avionics installation and troubleshooting, and dedicated hard work. Chris is a FAA certified repairman and an AEA member, he attended Bendix-King, Avidyne, Garmin and AEA training courses.
